Secondary
Core Subjects

We want all students to be confident in secondary school and that is why we have developed courses for students in years 7,8,9 and GCSE . The courses we run are in core subjects such as: Maths, English, Phyisics, Chemistry and Biology .

All subjects are taught by highly experienced and fully qualified teachers with years of teaching experience .  The teachers are either teaching in a Grammar School or Local Independent Private Schools.

English

English Language and Literature is a key part  of any pupil’s educational journey. Analysing varied texts a student will gain an understanding of Literature – a key skill required by universities. We are well aware that some students do not like reading long novels or literature and so with our highly experienced teachers  we aim to encourage our students, in an effort to unlock their full potential.

The above is possible because we provide students with an optimal learning environment, which schools cannot always offer. Schools have large classes and concentration is difficult but at Elevenology our class sizes are much smaller and so students can gain more individual attention.

English

Mathematics

Mathematics is a subject that many students find challenging and often this is because core foundations may not be strong and the core concepts may not be fully understood.

Furthermore, examiners are increasingly making students think and so the questions are much broader than ever before and so application of knowledge is essential and the only way to improve is by maximising a solid foundation in the core maths , followed up with practice and termly tests and examinations .

Mathematics is a core skill that we all require in day-to-day life, however nowadays it is essential.

We tutor high-achievers, and individuals struggling with the subject, to reveal their full potential,

Our success lies in our teaching methods – these encourage confidence in students, helping them to gain the essential  knowledge, which converts into outstanding examination results.

Chemistry

Chemistry is a fascinating subject and very popular amongst students and widely recognized as a crucial subject when applying to universities . In Chemistry, students are expected to conduct practical experiments in school and often students struggle with the written theory and this can   demotivate students. Students need a solid foundation and exposure to all parts of the syllabus and especially the more tedious parts which can often be missed in schools. At Elevenology , our experienced teachers cater to all parts of the syllabus and especially focus on the parts which students find challenging as examiners like to test students on these topics.

At Schools and Colleges teachers do not always have enough experience to teach students Chemistry effectively. Combined with this is the disruptive environment of a classroom, which may comprise of some students that are unruly, and therefore command the teacher’s entire attention.

At Elevenology we provide an ideal learning environment, with tutors that are able to structure lessons, provide discipline where necessary and offer one-to-one support.

Chemistry

Physics

This is a very demanding subject and students need to have a high level of maths skills in order to be successful in Physics. It is often thought as the most difficult of the three sciences  Many students struggle with the various aspects and topics and schools cannot cater to all students .

At Elevenology , we have very highly experienced Teachers (teaching up to A level ) who can draw out the best out of all students with positive encouragement and this equips students with skills, confidence and knowledge to perform well in their exams.

Biology

Biology

Biology is essential  in propelling students into high-flying careers, including Medicine, Dentistry, Forensic science and Genetics. Individuals that commit themselves to achieving highly in Biology will be setting themselves up for a place on a course at their preferred University.

Unfortunately many schools do not provide a good learning environment, with teachers not encouraging students to fulfil their potential and classrooms that are full of unruly children.
